In the programs toolstar®testLX and toolstar®testWIN offers you various interactive tests such as keyboard, Mouse and touchscreen tests, Monitor and Sound input and output are available. The keyboard test can be used to check all keys on a keyboard. The input is displayed graphically and various keyboard layouts are available.
The settings

Also records the key presses in the logs (see list in the picture) - Keyboard Shape
The device keyboard shape to use. The default is straight. Alternatively, a specific shape can also be selected. In addition, the addition of multimedia, internet and office keys can be activated. - User is allowed to change the above settings during the test
If this item is selected, the user is allowed to change the above settings during the test. - LEDs
Checks the LEDs on the keyboard by alternately turning them on and off.
Test screen
The selected keyboard layout is displayed graphically on the test screen. Additionally, all key presses are recorded and displayed in a table above. The Duration column shows how long the key was pressed. This can be used to check whether the button is stuck or emits a signal that is too long. The checkboxes can be used to activate additional buttons if they are available on the current device.

Notice
The keyboard tests are most useful for devices with a permanently installed keyboard such as notebooks, all-in-ones or tablets. Ideal for checking in the Refurbishment area whether all the keys work or whether the keyboard needs to be replaced .
