The information page lists all available audio devices along with their inputs and outputs. Note their numbers (e.g. “Output 000” and “Input 010”), which you can use in the endurance test to be able to select specific connections. However, the connections may differ depending on the system. A fixed configuration only makes sense if the same systems are always tested.
- Audio output opens a dialog for selecting the output and volume, on which a sequence of sounds is then played. Please make sure that speakers or headphones are connected, switched on and set to a sufficiently loud volume.
- Audio Input lets you choose one of the available inputs (typically line-in and microphone), as well as the option to automatically pass the test if the input signal is strong enough. Please make sure that a suitable audio source is connected, switched on and set to a sufficiently loud volume.
- Audio loopback allows an automated test when an input (line-in) and an output are connected with a suitable cable.
