The program toolbar is in the programs toolstar®testLX, toolstar®testWIN, toolstar®shredderLX and toolstar®shredderWIN visible at the top of the program. Depending on their position in the program, all or just individual symbols are deactivated and are not available. The list below enumerates the symbols from left to right.
- Menu icon
The menu icon is there to minimize the left side menu. This allows you to get a better overview of the output on small monitors. - Arrow symbol
Use the arrow symbol to always go back one page until you are back in the main menu. You may have to press several times until you are back in the main menu. - House symbol
With the house symbol you can always return to the quick start page, no matter which page. - X symbol
The X symbol is intended for aborting processes (test and shredder). In most cases, after clicking on the symbol, you will receive another query as a dialog. This dialog then offers you more options. - Floppy disk symbol
With this symbol you can save any output you see in the right part of the program in different formats. The save dialog that opens offers you various options for setting the format, destination and content. - Cloud symbol
The cloud symbol hides the option to upload output pages to an FTP server. You also get the same functionality by clicking on the disk and switching between destinations. - Envelope
You can use the envelope to send output pages by email. You also get the same functionality by clicking on the disk and switching between destinations. - 4 differentDetail icons
The different detail icons allow you to adjust the detail level of the output on the right side of the program. The higher you go, the more will be displayed. The detail levels range from low to medium to high. The last icon, selective, is only available when you are within a test report. On output pages only the first 3 symbols are active. - Issue search icon
With this icon you can search in all issues shown on the right. After clicking on the symbol, a search window opens at the top right with which you can search for any text. This can be particularly useful in the area of long test reports. - Notebook
The notebook offers the option to document free text. All entries are saved in a file called notes.txt on the USB stick. You can use this function, for example, to give colleagues a tip or to document information about a support case. - Gear symbol
Clicking on the symbol opens the global settings dialog. - WLAN symbol
The symbol shows whether you are connected to a WLAN and if not, the dialog opens to establish a connection. - Speech bubble
You can send us feedback at any time using the speech bubble. However, you need an active internet connection. - Help icon
Use this icon to open the help pinned to the right side of the program. The help updates depending on where you are in the program.
