Live-Hardware-Monitoring: Settings

Here you will find an overview of the most important general settings for live hardware monitoring.

Record and display sensors

In this matrix you can set which of the different sensor and value types should be recorded (live hardware monitoring history). The sensor and value types selected here are recorded as soon as the program starts (depending on the start mode setting) and are immediately available in the hardware monitoring history. Not all sensor and value types selected here appear in the graphic (see settings below).

Show sensors in the graph

All sensor and value types selected here are displayed immediately after the live hardware monitoring graph is called up. The display does not determine whether these are also documented in the hardware monitoring history. This setting is only there to display the sensor and value types visually.

The best way would be to record sensors and also display them. This means you always have an overview of the current values on the screen and later also the information in the protocols.

Interval and display duration

The Time to display in graph setting determines how many hours, minutes or seconds are displayed within the graph. If you set a time of 2 minutes here, for example, the last 2 minutes of all values will be displayed within the graphic.

The Update Interval setting determines the frequency at which the sensor data is retrieved. For example, if you set a value of 2 seconds here, the sensor values will be retrieved every 2 seconds and, depending on the setting, saved in the history and also displayed in the graph.
